✨ If you hold dear the artistry that can be expressed through oriental dance, you like challenges and you want to become a part of something truly magical and unique, then this stage project is made for you! 😁
⚙️ How does it work?
Only 8 DANCERS will be selected for the project through an audition process! Dancers will be hand-picked by Mohamed Shahin himself & Tahira. The first step is to send your application and pay the audition fee.
Next, you’ll receive a short instructional video from Shahin. Your task will be to learn the combination, then record yourself performing it and send your video for evaluation no later than April 30, 2025.
The results will be announced on May 15, 2025. Those selected for the project must pay the first installment or the full project fee by May 31, 2025. Then, you’ll receive the first choreography (a pre-recorded instructional video), which we’ll work on during our first online meeting. Additional materials will be provided in the following weeks (all in a style of pre-recorded instructional videos).
The first 2 meetings will be online, led by Tahira. You’ll work on technique and choreography combinations and get answers to any questions you might have 🤓 The following live meetings will include rehearsals for the first 2 choreographies, assigning additional mini roles for the stage performance (as a group), and a live meeting with Mohamed Shahin and his choreography. These will take place during the event in October. Participants are expected to arrive in Bielsko-Biała on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
🎊 The culmination of our creative work will be a performance in the Pocahontas dance theater spectacle, where you’ll perform 3 group choreographies, including one WITH MOHAMED SHAHIN on stage 🎊

🎭 COSTUMES
For the first two choreographies, we’ll compose costumes and props from what you have in your wardrobe (minor expenses for ordinary clothes like tops may be necessary). For Muwashahat, costumes will be tailored for the whole group by a costume designer. The costumes will be yours to keep after the show. Their elements and design will be versatile enough that you can use them in whole or in part for your future performances. We are still negotiating the price, but we estimate that the cost should not exceed 800 PLN (about 185 euros). Costumes will be available for pickup and payment at the first live meeting.
